Uttam Rao

Uttam is a PhD student in Computer Science advised by Biocomplexity Institute Executive Director Madhav Marathe and a NSDPI research associate. His research interests span network science, large language models, and graph-based modeling of complex systems. Uttam has experience in AI systems, multi-agent architectures, machine learning, and cloud security; his goal is to develop high-impact solutions through interdisciplinary collaboration. 

He holds a M.S. in Computer Science from Dartmouth College and a B.S. in Computer Science and B.A. in Chinese Language and Literature from the University of Virginia.
